A recent local survey shows that among the many needs of our young people, mentoring and tutoring is right at the top – especially in reading and math. Several programs already exist in our area. We're working with each to determine how to strengthen the effort as a whole – and how we can help fill in gaps.

The MCCCE has partnered with eight (8) area mentoring/tutoring organizations for the 2023-24 school year. A total of $10,800.00 was distributed with each partnering organization receiving $1,200.00 to support their mentoring/tutoring efforts.
